Annual Advocates for School Trust Lands Conference
ASTL sponsors a yearly conference which brings together state officials, school districts, and engaged individuals to discuss school trust lands. ASTL brings in speakers and people who have been “in the trenches” dealing with issues who can help you navigate the bureacracy often associated with school trust lands and suggest solutions and next steps. This conference is the only conference we are aware of where these issues get discussed.
You will meet with individuals from other states who are dealing with the same issues you are. They will share stories of how they have dealt with the bureacracy and the fights still going on.
